I truly wanted to open a little coffee bar on a Caribbean Island.  I have dreamed of that for years! So, after 25 years as a medical professional, I decided to hang up the stethoscope and, with a leap of faith, Fuel Coffee Bar became a reality. While Narragansett is not a Caribbean Island, it is a beach community and the beach life is my lifestyle.

I am a native Rhode Islander and live in a beach bungalow in Misquamicut.  I grew up with Narragansett as my backyard. My brother, John, a long-time dedicated surfer, did his share of surfing in Misquamicut and Narragansett before chasing the waves to California and Hawaii.  He inspired the surf theme for Fuel Coffee Bar and my trademark “Hit The Liquid.”

Fuel Coffee Bar is located 2 miles from Narragansett Beach and ten minutes from the University of RI.  We are open daily 7am-4pm. WI-FI is free.
